Isabell Spengler (*1972) hat Experimentelle Filmgestaltung an der Universität der Künste Berlin und am California Institut of the Arts in Los Angeles studiert. 1999 – 2004 lebte sie in Los Angeles, 2004 – 2014 lehrte sie als künstlerische Mitarbeiterin und als Gastprofessorin „Kunst und Medien“ an der UdK Berlin. Sie hat zahlreiche Stipendien und Auszeichnungen erhalten. Seit 1998 werden ihre Arbeiten in Ausstellungen und auf Festivals weltweit präsentiert.
